Robert Ashford's new CD, The Lord's Prayer, will be released for public sale on Friday, November 24, 2006, in anticipation of the Christmas Season.
A pre-release, promotional copy of The Lord's Prayer, is available to qualified professionals interested in performing, retailing, distributing, broadcasting, reviewing, or using this CD or selections from it in productions.

The Lord's Prayer CD presents six arrangements of a new, melodic version of The Lord’s Prayer.
The new Lord's Prayer melody . . .
* is hymn-like - sweet, gentle, loving, uplifting, and easy for children to learn and sing.
* has a spiritual quality that eases the mind, touches the heart, and comforts the soul.
* provides a rich melodic and harmonic expression to the beauty of The Lord's Prayer that puts people in a reverent frame of mind.

The Lord's Prayer CD features performances by:
(1) the Fredonia College Choir, an outstanding ensemble of young men and women from Fredonia College in Upstate New York, and
(2) vocalist Carrie Manolakos, an exciting young vocalist with the voice of an angel.
Interspersed among these arrangements are four lovely original instrumental compositions that can be used either as preludes or post-scripts to the performances of the Lord’s Prayer.
These instrumental compositions fit well in any combination with the performances of the Lord’s Prayer thereby allowing great flexibility in programming.

Scores of the Lord's Prayer are available:
(1) a three-part choral version for mezzo-soprano, tenor, and bass, and (optional) keyboard accompaniment, and
(2) a version for solo voice and keyboard accompaniment.
